One of WE Bike NYC’s most important projects is underway in Corona Queens. WE Bike NYC aims to get more women on bikes. For many of us, that has meant joining together to celebrate a love of biking. But for some communities, that means entering the community for the first time.

This past week, WE Bike NYC launched our Corona project in Queens. Twelve badass women from the local community joined our group to build their first bicycles, learn basic mechanics, and in just nine short weeks, they will take the reigns and lead rides in their communities with their new skills.
